Better Humidity Control
Generally the thermostat used to control an FCU does not have the AUTO or DRY MODE function that is usually available on split-type air conditioners. This is a problem in hot and humid climates where consistently high humidity can lead to issues of mold and musty smells
During normal cycling of the FCU, the fan is always on during both the ON and OFF parts of the cycle. The problem with this is that at the end of the ON cycle the water remaining on the coil is evaporated and water vapor is blown back into the room and the humidity quickly rises again.

When in setback mode (room unoccupied) ioCool uses this time to run DRY MODE cycles where the fan is switched on and off together with the opening and closing of the coil. This gives a cycle by cycle lowering of the humidity.
